Of all of the topics I’ve been writing on, this is by far the most alarming sign of that we are living in the end of times. The living generations today are witnessing unparalleled fulfillment of biblical prophecy. I submit to you, as it was in the beginning so shall it be in the end. Solomon supports this when he said, “That which has been is what will be, that which is done is what will be done, And there is nothing new under the sun” (Eccl. 1:9). Everything we see happening in our world today is only history repeating itself. In other words, the beginning actually reveals the end. Today I am making Christians aware that the “Gay bible” has been officially released since late 2012. I have had previous knowledge that work was being done to produce one, but I didn’t realize it is actually in print until a few weeks ago. That’s right folks, it is no longer on its way; it actually exists in print. The LGBT, now known as LGBTQ which stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer, have partnered with liberal so-called bible scholars and have been working on it for a few years, and it is now available. The editor in chief says, “The Bible says nothing about homosexuality. However, there might be no other argument in contemporary faith as heated as what the Bible is interpreted to say about homosexuality. The Bible is the word of God translated by man. This (saying nothing countless translations and the evolution of language itself) means the Bible can be interpreted in different ways, leading to what we call “interpretive ambiguity.” In editing The Queen James Bible we were faced with the decision to modify existing interpretively ambiguous language, or simply to delete it.”

Never before in my 15 years of Christianity, have I ever seen such blasphemy and abomination against God and His word. Let me say that it is one thing to choose to live a homosexual lifestyle, but it is another thing to tamper with God’s word and adjust it to justify an alternative lifestyle and perverted desires. Changing God’s word is the same as trying to change who He is. It is a dangerous road to take. Psalm 119:25-56 and 138:2 tells us that God said that God has exalted His word above His name. That is how serious God takes His word. Therefore to alter God’s word to make your contemptible standard of living right, is going against the very character of God. The book of Revelation says, “For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add[j] to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book” (Rev.22:18b-19).

As you may already know, lesbians and gays use the rainbow as their official symbol of identification. Ironically, the rainbow is God’s symbol of promise that He will never again destroy the earth with a flood. However they have perverted it by making it the symbol for gays and lesbians worldwide. In keeping with their symbol, the “Gay Bible”  is emblazoned with a large rainbow cross on the front, as seen in the image above. It is described on their website as “big, fabulous Bible”. The “Gay Bible” is currently on sale in certain books stores, on Amazon.com, and other online vendors. It is currently being retailed for $21.42 per copy. Its official name is the “Queen James Version” which draws its name from King James I, who was behind the popular traditional version.” Throughout this article I will be using the terms “Gay bible”, and “Queen James Version” interchangeably, but they both mean the same thing. The Gay bible is actually the “Queen James Version” and vice versa. As support for the argument, they claim that King James himself was also allegedly “a well-known bisexual”. Obviously the title “Queen James Version” is the exact opposite to “King James Version”. The devil can never be original with anything he does; he is nothing but copycat. He tries to distort everything that God has created. He cannot create, so he recreates. The “Queen James Version” simply uses the King James Version and completely changed certain verses to mean what they want it to mean. The “Queen James Version” takes all of the verses that vehemently addresses homosexuality and changed the wording in order to interpret them differently. The LGBTQ claims that the word of God does not condemn homosexuality. According to Douglas J. Moo, Wessner Chair of Biblical Studies at Wheaton College and a professional Bible translator, In an effort to resolve “long-standing interpretive ambiguity in key Bible passages regarding homosexuality” a new version of the classic King James Bible — this one titled The Queen James Bible — claims to be the first ever gay friendly Bible to correctly translate the Christian scriptures.”

Why We Chose the King James Version?

We chose the 1769 form of the King James Bible for our revision for the following reasons:

1. The obvious gay link to King James, known amongst friends and courtiers as “Queen James” because of his many gay lovers.

2. No Bible is perfect, but everyone knows the King James Bible; It is arguably the most popular Bible in history and the basis of many other translations.

3. Most English Bible translations that actively condemn homosexuality have based themselves on the King James Version and have erroneously adapted its words to support their own agenda. We wanted to return to the clean source and start there.

4. Some claim the language of the KJV is antiquated, but we believe it is poetic, traditional, and ceremonial. Christianity is an ancient tradition, and the King James and resultant Queen James versions remind us and keep us connected to that tradition.

The editor goes on to state as follows:

There are problems with removal of verses:
• It doesn’t address the problem of interpretive ambiguity, it only brushes it under the rug.
• It renders an incomplete Bible.
• Revelation says not to “edit the book,” and people often extend that to mean the entire Bible, not just the book of Revelation.

We also refused to just say “that’s outdated” and omit something. Yes, things like Leviticus are horribly outdated, but that doesn’t stop people from citing them. We wanted our Bible bulletproof from the ones shooting the bullets.

There are also problems with editing verses:
The context, idiom, and grammar from the time are almost impossible to recreate. • Changes could further create interpretive ambiguity. Many versions of the Bible translated and published since the King James Bible have changed the language, so the precedent had been set for editing. Furthermore, both problems with editing are easily addressed by deciding to make the edits as simple as possible. We edited the Bible to prevent homophobic interpretations.

 For the benefit of everyone reading this article, I’ve pulled some of the changed verses from the “Queen James Version/Gay bible” website. According to the editor in chief, “we made changes to eight verses.” To distinguish between the versions, I will state (King James Version), and the (Queen James Version) next to the respective verses. Four of those verses are as follows:

1.      Genesis 19:5 (King James Version)

And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, where are the men which came in to thee this night? Bring them out unto us, that we may know them.

QJV) InterpretationWe side with most Bible scholars who understand the story of Sodom and Gomorra to be about bullying strangers. Strangers were not well-treated or well-regarded at the time of Bible (hence so much of the Word urging the love and acceptance of others). We know Lot asks that the men do not “know” the angel visitors “wickedly,” (Genesis 19:7), in other words “brutally,” which we understand to mean “rape.” We know from Leviticus that one is not allowed to have sex with a beast, and angels are not human. Plus, the passage mentions the men of the city; Obviously women and children aren’t going to be invited to a dominating and public rape, but we know there were women and children in Sodom because Lot had daughters. Rapes such as this one are common between men in prison; they aren’t sexual acts, they are power-dominating acts.” Therefore, we changed the verse to the following:

        Genesis 19:5 (Queen James Version)

And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, where are the men who came in to thee this night? Bring them out unto us, that we may rape and humiliate them.

 

2.      Leviticus 18:22 (King James Version)

Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is an abomination. (KJV)

         Leviticus 20:13 (King James Version)

If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. (KJV)

Queen James Version Interpretation: Leviticus is outdated as a moral code, but we still picked it as our most important book to address in our edits, as most anti-LGBT religious activists cite Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13 as proof-positive that homosexuality is a sin, even worse, a sin punishable by death. We assert that Leviticus 18:21 refers to “lying” with these pagan male prostitutes as a form of pagan idolatry. This fits in with the story order of Leviticus, and with the other offenses punishments punishable by death within Leviticus. We therefore change Levticus 18:21 and 20:13 to read as follows:

         Leviticus 18:22 (Queen James Version)

Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind in the temple of Molech: it is an abomination.

         Leviticus 20:13 (Queen James Version)

If a man also lie with mankind in the temple of Molech, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

 

3.      Romans 1:26 (King James Version)

Their women did change the natural use into that which is against their nature.

         Romans 1:27 – (King James Version)
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections.

Queen James Version InterpretationWe know Paul was a Jew and steeped in the purity tradition of Leviticus. Leviticus, as we know, is intended to condemn ritual impurities associated with pagan idol worship. It would not be unreasonable to assume a connection, especially since Romans 1:24 mentions “uncleanness.” We know sex, both heterosexual and homosexual sex (not distinguished from each other at the time), was an extremely major component of pagan ritual. Most scholars (us included), agree that the sin in Romans 1 isn’t being gay or lesbian or having gay sex. The sin was worshiping pagan idols instead of God, as it was in Leviticus, as it is everywhere in the Bible. To reflect our more examined understanding of what is “natural” and to clarify the subject matter of Romans 1, we have changed the verses to the following:

          Romans 1:26 – (Queen James Version)

Their women did change their natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men left of the natural use of the woman, burned in ritual lust, one toward another.

         Romans 1:27 – (Queen James Version)

Men with men working that which is pagan and unseemly. For this cause God gave the idolators up unto vile affections, receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.

 

4.      Jude 1:7 (King James Version):

Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Queen James Version InterpretationGiven our clarification of the story of Sodom, we chose to highlight the fact that the male mob in Sodom raped angels, which is “strange” in that it is nonhuman.

            Jude 1:7 (Queen James Version):

Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after nonhuman flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

5.      1 Corinthians 6:9 (King James Version)

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind

Queen James Version Interpretation:- We changed Corinthians 6:9 to reflect this clarified understanding (Corinthians 6:10 included for context): First, we know the English “effeminate” can be translated from the Greek “malakoi,” which can mean “soft,” but in several very important ways. It can mean soft, like the fine fabric of a rich man’s clothes (Luke 7:25 and Matthew 11:8) and it can mean morally soft, such as “undisciplined”, “decadent”, “lazy”, or “easily influenced.” Anyone morally weak, passive, easily influenced, vain (anything “weak-like-a-woman” so to speak), fits better with the covetous, drunkards, adulterers, and the like described in these verses. Whether or not they are effeminate by today’s standards has no bearing on it, and so we changed “effeminate” to “morally weak” to clarify this verse’s meaning. One of the most famous homosexual Bible ambiguous interpretations is the line “Abusers of themselves with mankind,” which can be linked to the Greek word “Arsenokoitais.” The meaning of arsenokoitais has been famously debated, but in fact, “arsenokoitais” translates to “the male who has many beds,” and wherever else “kotais” is used in the Greek translations, it implies what we would use “promiscuity” for in modern English. (“Arsenokoitais” is likely referring to men who “abuse themselves” with the child-aged male prostitutes common in pagan temples at the time). Furthermore, Greek as a language had developed words for homosexuality, but none of those words were used in arsenokoitais’s place. We changed the phrase “Abusers of themselves with mankind” to “promiscuous” as one who is promiscuous risks their own health and that of others, sexually and otherwise, as they disrespect their God-given body.

         1 Corinthians 6:9 (Queen James Version)

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor morally weak, nor promiscuous.

 

6.      1 Timothy 1:10 (King James Version)

For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; (KJV)

Queen James Version Interpretation: Given the context and theme of all our edits, we have changed “defile themselves with mankind” to simply “defile themselves.”

         1 Timothy 1:10 (Queen James Version)

For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine

The editor concludes by saying, We didn’t change anything else to create this edition of the Queen James Bible. The Queen James Bible resolves any homophobic interpretations of the Bible, but the Bible is still filled with inequality and even contradiction that we have not addressed. No Bible is perfect, including this one. We wanted to make a book filled with the word of God that nobody could use to incorrectly condemn God’s LGBT children, and we succeeded.”

Let me state clearly that homosexuality and same-sex marriage is a sin, and God hates it. If you read through the notes carefully, you would notice how they have changed the verses to mean something totally different. They deleted and inserted certain words so as to claim the Bible does not condemn homosexuality. To them Sodom and Gomorrah was not speaking about homosexuality and such like. However, let me put you on notice by saying you can do what you want to justify sin, but there is coming a day when you will stand before God who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His Kingdom. While I agree that sin is sin to an extent, I think there is no sin more detestable to God than the sin of homosexuality. The reason I say so is because homosexuality defies God’s character and image. God said, “Let us make man in our image and after our likeness” (Gen. 1:26). After he created man he made him a woman, to perfectly work in harmony with each other. This is and always will be God’s original design for humanity and nothing will ever change that. He created man and woman to complement each other emotionally, physiologically, and even sexually. Hence, it is only the sexual union of a man and a woman that can produce a baby. The very fact that a man and a man, or a woman and a woman cannot produce another human life is enough to argue against homosexuality, without even going to scripture. Common sense and man’s own conscience existed even before scripture was written.

My question now to all Christians is how are we to respond to the rising tide of homosexuality and godlessness in our society. We cannot afford to sit idly by and gather in our churches on Sunday mornings while the ungodly does whatever they desire. We have been given a mandate from our Lord Jesus Christ to make disciples of all nations. We cannot disciple the nations if we don’t present God’s word in every facet of society. Our lives and that of our children and grand children are depending on what we do. While we await the return of our Lord, we cannot allow our children to grow up in a society where it is normal for a man and another man to walk hand-in-hand. Jesus told us to occupy until he comes. Therefore it is important for us offer a Kingdom perspective in a world that’s filled with darkness. Jesus said, “You are the light of the world” (Matt.5:14). Therefore it is up to us to shine in every secret corner and crevice where the kingdom of darkness has overshadowed. He also said “You are the salt of the earth” (Matt. 5:13). The problem is that Christianity has lost its way and has lost its saltiness. We have lost our identity and we no longer know who we are. Unlike other religions, Christianity now has no identity. We are simply everything and everyone else, whenever it makes sense. We do whatever is expedient for us at any given time.

However, God always has a remnant that is willing to stand up for His Kingdom and for what they believe to be true and right. In every generation, there is always a remnant that will not bow to the system and will hold on to truth at any cost. Ask yourself, where you stand this day. Are you on the Lord’s side? Or are you standing on the fence; only you can determine the answer. My friends these are the days that the word of God warned us would come. I submit to every Christian reading this article to begin to trim your lamps and ready yourselves for the coming of our Lord. There are very little Bible prophecies yet to be fulfilled. All things are being fulfilled as we speak, and the fullness of time is upon us. This article was meant to bring awareness of the existence of the Gay bible. I will follow up some time in the very near future with two articles titled “A Christian response to homosexuality”, and “A Biblical defense of Marriage.” In the mean time, “Be ye also ready, for in such an hour as you think not, the son of man cometh” (Matt. 24:44).
